Knob Creek

Knob Creek is bourbon the way it used to be, before prohibition. In the early 20th century, bourbon production had reached an exceptional level of quality, but the industry was halted in 1920 when prohibition came into effect. When prohibition ended, distilleries resumed production, but in order to remain in business were forced to age their whiskies for shorter periods and tastes changed towards softer whiskies.

Knob Creek is a return to the style of longer aged whiskies with a big flavour. A small batch whiskey, Knob Creek is aged for nine years, longer than almost any other, using heavily charred barrels. This brings out more of the flavour during maturing so that you can enjoy Knob Creek just like the good old days.
