Beringer

The Beringer Vineyards were founded in 1875 in California's famous Napa Valley and holds the distinction of being Napa Valley's oldest continuously operating winery.

Beringer could also be said to have given rise to the wine tourism industry that the region enjoys. After the repeal of prohibition, the winery opened its doors to the public, inviting celebrities attending the Golden Gate International Expo to visit, who then took the name of Beringer to Hollywood.
