Marques de Caceres Rioja Gran Reserva is a wine of incredible richness and personality. A complex nose with intense aromas of fruits of the forest and Morello cherry, as well as some toasted notes. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, with superb tannins that serve to highlight it's remarkable structure and complexity. Delicious, elegant and truly expressive. This Gran Reserva rioja is sourced from old vines across Rioja Alta, with some of the very oldest being 85 years old. The wines are matured in French oak barrels for 24 to 26 months depending on the vineyard before bottling. The wine is then allowed to mature in bottle for a further 4 years before release. |
