Dom Perignon and Lenny Kravitz have released a limited edition presentation of the exceptional 2008 vintage. Lenny Kravitz's creative input has produced a metallic label that borrows from the craft of goldsmiths to work hammered metal on the surface of the shield. The label shimmers with it's vintage patina effect. This limited edition bottle is one for collectors and admirers to share. Dom Perignon 2008 is a special vintage. So special, that we were made to wait for it's release; it was the first time a vintage has been released out of sequence, with the 2008 following the release of the 2009 vintage. The nose is complex and fresh with light hints of lemon zest, wet chalk and stone fruits. After settling in the glass, you get some smoky overtones of flint. On the palate, it opens up with full generosity, where an exquisite but slender creaminess fizzes in the finest of bubbles. The vintage's characteristic acidity is remarkably well integrated.
