Woodfired Heathcote Sparkling Shiraz from De Bortoli's 80-hectare Central Victorian Heathcote vineyard is rich and ripe. Gamey scents and an initial hit of blackcurrant flavours on the palate. This evolves to plum pudding, spice and savoury oak. With its lick of sweetness and supple, tongue-caressing texture, it sure is a fine Sparkling Shiraz.
