Teeling Single Grain was awarded the World's Best Grain at the World Whiskies Awards 2014. This award-winning Whiskey is one of only a handful of Single Grain bottlings in the world. It is fully matured in Californian red wine barrels resulting in an intensely fruity and beautifully amber liquid, with lush berry notes. The hand selected casks are bottled at 46%, with no chill filtration to ensure all the unique flavour is captured. Amber in colour. The spicy and fruity notes inter-mingle with an underlying sweet nose. Strong spice to start develops into lush red berries and grapes, with drying tannin effect at the end. A dry finish that's dominated by wood and spice. |
