Argentinian Red Wine

Argentina, much like its neighbour Chile, has its viticultural roots in the era of Spanish colonisation. Historically, Argentina has produced more wine than any other country outside of Europe, though this was almost all for domestic consumption. It is only in recent years that Argentine wines have begun to be exported widely, with a significant focus on quality. Wine critics now consider Argentina's Malbecs to be comparable to some of France's Pinot Noirs.
