Pale yellow in colour with green hues with brilliant clarity. The bouquet of this Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend displays snow peas and celery with very light tropical mango and honeydew melon.

The palate is crisp and steely, fine textured with a tight finish of kiwi fruit and passionfruit. While drinking beautifully now, this wine can be cellared for up to 5 years.

Background Information: The Yarra Burn winery and vineyards are situated on the southern side of the Yarra Valley, Victoria. A limited quantity of premium varietal wine is produced each vintage from this renowned cool climate viticultural area, all of which reflect Yarra Burn's signature of elegance and finesse.

Winemaker's Notes: 2003 was a warm year in the Yarra and most of the fruit for this wine is from our cooler, higher vineyards in the Yarra, balanced with some more tropical flavours from the Valley Floor. Cool fermentation temperatures with carefully selected yeasts, enhance and preserve the delicate fruit flavour and steeliness of the wine.
