	Description: This 2005 vintage shows rose petal and spicy Turkish Delight aromas. It is deliciously mouth filling yet has a balancing crispness, which makes it an ideal complement to many food types, including Asian and Indian dishes as spicy as you like!! Background: This wine is a blend of fruit grown in four different grape growing regions of New Zealand. Each region provides the viticulturists with unique challenges in growing Gewurztraminer. The main aim with Gewurztraminer, which is notoriously difficult to grow consistently, is to ensure the vine flowers well and progresses through an even fruit set in Spring and then remains healthy through till harvest. Careful vine management, including restricted yields and leaf plucking to maintain an open canopy with good bunch exposure to sunlight are keys to achieving the optimum yields and flavour intensity that is sought in this Gewurztraminer.
