Ripe and plump blackcurrants on the nose. There is a dusty savoury earthiness typical of Margaret River and some hints of dried herbs.
The palate is juicy with sweet and savoury components combining nicely with spritely acidity and fine grained tannins lengthening the finish. Flavours of blackcurrant and red currant combine well with the French oak providing complexity and structure to the wine.
Aged for 12 months in 1-3 year old French and American oak barriques.
