Yellow gold in colour. Its youthful and exuberant nose of Seville orange and marmalade are presented with layers of citrus, lime and honeyed fruit and flowers. Searing acidity underlies the intense flavours on the palate. Aszu wines are made when, aided by climatic conditions, botryis concentrates the grape sugars in the hand picked, raisin-like grapes - Aszú berries. The wine is aged skilfully in cask for a minimum of 3 years. The Puttonyos number 3 to 6 - indicate the amount of Aszú grapes used.
