Description:
Deep ruby red in colour with a youthful bright rim. The nose is aromatic and fruit driven, displaying ripe plum and red-berry fruit with an undertone of forest floor. The palate is medium bodied, finely structured and fruit driven, with blackberry and morello cherry flavours, wood spice and a hint of vanilla on the complex, lengthy finish.

Background: Soleus is a fully certified organic brand from Chile. Soleus is produced by MontGras, who are very conscious of the sustainability and biodiversity of all their vineyards. The grapes of the Soleus wines come from the Aurora Estate from Teno in the Central Valley. Watered with pure Andean snow melt water, the vineyards benefit from the reliable Chilean sunshine and cool Pacific breezes. Winemaker Santiago Margozzini is in charge of selecting the fruit and crafting the Soleus range of wines, which are barrel aged and complex, and produced in limited quantities.
