Astrologically, it represents the discoverer, the pioneer. Portia, of Latin origin, means 'offering', giving gifts and sacrifices for the supernatural beings as a sign of adoration and devotion. Faithful to its principles, the Faustino Group began its venture in Ribera del Duero by acquiring white soils and planting them with vines in the 1990s. The Group owns 160 hectares distributed among the municipalities of Roa, Villanueva de Gumiel and Gumiel de Izan.
