Dark red with crimson hues, the Leasingham Classic Clare Shiraz shows intense plum and fresh berry fruit with a subtle aroma of cracked pepper. Concentrated sweet, blackberry flavours and creamy raspberry coulis characters are evident on the palate. Ground pepper and spice flavours are given complexity from a background of cedar oak and licorice tones. Rounded tannins give a silky texture to this fine wine.

Set in the picturesque Clare Valley, the Leasingham tradition evolved from humble beginnings in 1893. Rich soils and cool, moist conditions were perfect foundations for what is today a premium viticultural district. Leasingham is highly regarded as one of the best Riesling producers' in Australia, consistently producing award-winning wines of high quality.
