Pale straw in colour with green tinges, this Houghton Verdelho exhibits fresh tropical aromas with powerful citrus overtones. The palate is soft and flavoursome, rich and long with youthful spicy fruit and a fine acid finish.

Today, Houghton continues the tradition by consistently producing award winning wines of finesse and character. Select fruit parcels are sourced from WA's premium wine growing regions including the Margaret & Frankland Rivers, Swan Valley & Gingin. This fruit is then handed over to the outstanding winemaking team at Houghton's where it is used to produce an extraordinary range of wines which show intensity of flavour and exceptional quality and are enjoyed in Australia and throughout the world.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from vineyards 88km north of Perth near Gingin in Western Australia. With each vintage, the best varietal fruit is selected, along with fruit from other premium regions in Western Australia; to produce varietal wines showing outstanding quality.
